Free Financial Advisory Services The members of the Financial Planning Association of Massachusetts have offered to provide free, confidential financial advisory services to residents of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts who were directly impacted by the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. In order to assure the quality of the services provided, only licensed Certified Public Accountants, Certified Financial Planners, Chartered Financial Consultants (ChFC), and Chartered Life Underwriters (CLU) will provide services to victims' families. All financial advisors who participate in this program will be required to attend a day-long training session alerting them to the unique issues which may be common among victims' families.
