Massachusetts Remembers - A concert and ceremony in tribute to America
and the heroes and the fallen of that tragic day

Esplanade in Boston
The two-hour tribute included readings, poems, prayers, and time for reflection and remembrance.
A special musical program was performed by the Boston Pops Brass Ensemble and Boston Children’s Chorus.
12:00 noon - Non-profit community service booths opened to register volunteers.
12:30 pm - School children’s Flag Mural opened.
2:45 pm - Riders for Beyond the Bike, a three day memorial bicycle ride from New York’s World Trade Center to Boston’s Charles River Esplanade, made their arrival.
3:00 pm - Memorial Concert and Service began.

Battleship Cove 9/11 Memorial Service

The Fall River Fire Department obtained piece of the steel from the towers, which was displayed. The program included a 21-gun salute, dove release, and wreath laying. Local dignitaries were in attendance.
